Texas A&M University at Galveston will proudly confer 68 degrees on Saturday, August 10 for summer commencement. Commencement will be held at the Aggie Special Events Center (ASEC) Ballroom. The building is the newest in a long list of building projects to meet the needs and vision of the campus’s future. This will be the first commencement ceremony to be held in the purpose-built facility.

Note: The ceremony begins at 9 a.m., but graduates should plan to arrive between 7:45 and 8:15 a.m. Stage party and faculty members should arrive no later than 8:30 a.m. Parking will be free and TAMUG Police will be directing guests to appropriate lots. For those that will be unable to attend, the commencement will be live-streamed via TAMUS TTVN Live.

Texas A&M University at Galveston is an ocean-oriented branch campus of Texas A&M University, which educates nearly 2,300 undergraduate and graduate students in a unique blend of marine and maritime programs, including majors in science, business, engineering, liberal arts and transportation.
