The Texas A&M Foundation has initiated the Texas A&M University Disaster Relief Fund in order to aid student members of the Aggie community experiencing financial difficulties as a result of the coronavirus and COVID-19 pandemic.
Donations to the fund will support students struggling to find alternative housing, those facing unexpected moving expenses, and anyone experiencing food insecurity or suffering as a result from lost wages. A number of different funding sources are available.
“We understand this is an unprecedented time and that people are affected in many ways as a result,” said Texas A&M University at Galveston COO Col. Michael E. Fossum ’80. “We were there for our students during Hurricane Harvey, and this is no different. Especially during the hard times, your Aggie family has your back, so don’t be afraid to reach out for support when you need it.”
There is no charge to apply for emergency aid.
