The National Weather Service has Ordered a Tropical Storm Watch for Galveston County, Surrounding Areas

Significant rainfall is expected with this system which will impact areas prone to flooding. All students, faculty and staff should shelter-in-place beginning at 6 p.m. Friday through 6 p.m. Saturday. All essential staff should contact their supervisors to determine their work schedule between these hours.
Residence Hall Move-In and Drop-Off is cancelled for Saturday.
