Texas A&M Maritime Academy Summer Sea Term '21 Schedule Announced

UPDATE: The Summer Sea Term 2021 website has been launched since this release was distributed. For the most up-to-date information check the site frequently and follow us on social media at @texasmaritime.

Details concerning all logistics, including vaccines, quarantine periods, travel, public celebrations, port activities, and more will be communicated in the coming weeks 

Communications regarding Summer Sea Term will be released on Thursdays, where applicable. All communications will be distributed following Texas A&M Maritime Academy protocols and will be made available through Academy social media channels: @texasmaritime.

All maritime operations are fluid and subject to change with little notice. The information below should be used for planning purposes only.

  • June 24: Cadet check-in for those who have not received a vaccine
  • June 27: Cadet check-in for those who have received a vaccine
  • July 1: Move on to the TS Kennedy
  • July 7: Flotilla
  • July 7: Depart Galveston
  • July 17: Arrive St. Thomas
  • July 21: Depart St. Thomas
  • July 31: Arrive Galveston
  • August 3: Depart Galveston
  • August 13: Arrive Boston
  • August 16: Depart Boston
  • August 26: Location TBD
  • August 27: SST21 ends; Move off the TS Kennedy

The current Summer Sea Term website is undergoing maintenance in preparation for additional features. The updated site will be announced and information available beginning April 8, 2021.
